Hydraulic Oil Press Machine — Buyer's Guide & Model Range
Hydraulic oil presses from 300 to 620 tons for sesame, peanut, coconut, and 50+ oil seeds. Our oil pressing machine runs cold and hot pressing on the same machine — an edible oil press machine and vegetable oil press machine for cooking oil production. What is a hydraulic oil press machine?
A hydraulic oil press is a batch-type oil extraction machine that packs prepared oil seeds into a bar-slotted barrel (reinforced flange rings welded with trapezoidal steel bars, 1 mm inner slots and about 1 cm outer slots) and crushes them with a hydraulically driven piston — 300 to 620 tons of static force, at system pressures of 60–75 MPa. Oil flows out through the barrel slots while the seed cake stays inside.
Unlike a screw (expeller) press, there is no rotating screw and no friction heat. The same machine runs cold pressing (raw, dried seed — oil stays below 60°C) and hot pressing (pre-roasted or steamed seed for a few extra yield points); you only change how the seed is prepared.
Typical capacity is up to 100 kg of seed per barrel per cycle, served by one or two workers and a single 2.2 kW motor — a practical fit for small-to-medium oil mills, premium-oil producers and full production lines alike.

Naturally cold-press capable
Static pressure means no friction heat — no heating element is needed to keep cold-pressed oil below 60°C.
Runs almost anywhere
A 2.2 kW motor works on standard single-phase supply or a 5–7 kVA generator — proven in rural off-grid areas.
Bar-slotted barrel, +2–3% yield
The bar-type slotted barrel extracts roughly 2–3% more oil than conventional drilled barrels (factory test, sesame & peanut).
How a Hydraulic Oil Press Works
Load Seeds
Fill the press barrel with prepared oil seeds. Most seeds benefit from cleaning and drying; hot-pressed seeds are usually roasted or steamed first, while cold-pressed seeds are loaded raw.
Apply Pressure
The hydraulic system generates up to 620 tons of pressing force at controlled temperatures below 60°C for true cold pressing.
Collect Oil
Pure, filtered oil flows out through the slotted barrel while the compressed seed cake is ejected automatically by the 4-hook mechanism.
Which hydraulic press do you need?
You do not need to memorize model numbers — start from your seed and your daily volume. Each path below links to the exact model page with full specs. The full parameter matrix lives in one place: the model comparison page.
Soft & medium seeds, small-to-medium workshops
Sesame · peanut · rapeseed · sunflower · soybean · tea seed
300–365 tons pressing force
The best-selling daily-oil machines. One-button cycle, 2.2 kW motor (runs on a 5–7 kVA generator), single- or double-barrel stations.
Coconut milk, VCO & export-grade food production
Coconut milk · VCO · halal / food-certified sesame
300–325 tons · 304 stainless steel
Full food-contact 304 stainless barrels and frames for wet pressing and audited export facilities.
Premium oils from medium-hard seeds & nuts
Walnut · almond · camellia / tea seed · flaxseed · apricot kernel
500–600 tons · 42–48 MPa cake pressure
High cake-surface pressure is what cold pressing needs. Static pressure adds no friction heat, so raw dried seed presses below 60°C.
Hard / in-shell materials & high-volume mills
Copra · in-shell walnut · tiger nut · shea · yellowhorn · hemp
620 tons · up to 75 MPa system pressure
The highest force in the range for the hardest materials; double-barrel configurations for continuous high throughput.
The HN300–HN500 force range
Harder seed or in-shell material → higher cake pressure required. Tap a model for its page.
Application Scenarios
Typical cold-press yields on graded seed at 6–8% moisture. Actual yields vary with seed variety, preparation and cycle settings.
Cold Pressed Sesame Oil
Premium cooking oil for Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Cold pressing preserves the rich aroma and nutty flavor that commands premium prices.
Virgin Coconut Oil
High-value VCO production for Philippines, Indonesia, and global health food markets. Food-grade stainless steel models available for food safety compliance.
Peanut / Groundnut Oil
Africa's most popular cooking oil. Well-suited for groundnut oil businesses in Nigeria, Ghana, and across West Africa. Generator-compatible for rural operations.
Olive Oil
Mediterranean and Middle East premium market. Hydraulic cold pressing preserves polyphenols and the distinctive flavor profile demanded by olive oil connoisseurs.
Avocado Oil
Growing demand in cosmetics and premium cooking markets. Cold pressing retains vitamins, monounsaturated fats, and the vibrant green color of premium avocado oil.
Sunflower Oil
Eastern Europe and Africa staple cooking oil. High smoke point and mild flavor make it a versatile choice for both home and commercial food production.
Is a hydraulic press right for your business?
Hydraulic presses give high pressure, low temperature and batch pressing — ideal for premium cold-pressed oils and for mills that switch between seeds and methods. Continuous screw lines or solvent extraction can fit very high-volume refining operations better. Before you buy, compare the trade-offs honestly.
